REGISTRATION OPEN

Bethel Preschool is a ministry of Bethel Baptist Church whose purpose is to show the love of Christ to children and their parents by nurturing children to grow in mind, in body, and in relationship with God and with others. Our preschool program provides Christ-centered preschool education for children ages two through five. The program offers fun, structured classes with learning objectives and a focus on the social, spiritual, academic, and behavioral development of preschoolers. Find out more about Bethel Preschool.

FOOD PANTRY HOURS

2nd Wednesdays
5:00 – 6:30 PM
 
4th Fridays

9:00 – 11:00 AM

Charlotte’s Pantry will provide a bag of non-perishable groceries to those in need each month on the 2nd Wednesday from 5-6:30 PM and the 4th Friday from 9-11 AM in the People of Hope Center.

The Lord’s been good to me

It is well with my soul
One of the most majestic places in Virginia is Crabtree Falls.  This waterfall is a spectacular sight to see, but it also has a dark side.  Since the 1980s over 30 people have lost their lives as they’ve ventured off the path and fell because of the slippery moss and rocks.  There is a wonderful lady in our church who knows the anguish of losing a loved one at Crabtree Falls. Dolly Smith lost her daughter Tammy Hess on August 9, 1988.  Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only painful loss Dolly has experienced.
