Bethels Youth Ministry

YOUTH MINISTRY

Welcome to Bethel Youth! We are here to develop relationships with each other and foster an understanding of our relationship with God. We encourage you to join us and bring a friend.

Who is the youth program for? The youth program at Bethel is for all middle and high school students. We offer Sunday school, Wednesday nights, and other events.

What are you all about? We are committed to providing a place where real questions and meaningful conversations can happen. We strive to create a culture where students can connect to God, each other, and with leaders who are committed to helping them grow closer to Jesus.

What do you offer? CONNECT (Wednesday night youth group) is your place to connect! Connect with new and old friends. Connect with Jesus and discover who he is and what it looks like to live your life with him at the center. Connect with our youth minister who wants to walk along side you in this journey.

When and where do you meet? Sunday school is at 9:30 in the educational building (building with the gravel parking lot). Connect (Wednesday nights) starts at 6:30 with dinner before hand at 6 in the Hope Center. You don’t have to eat dinner with us to join us for Connect. You can come straight to Connect if that is a better fit for you. Connect meets in the youth room (lower level of the educational building).

We are always looking for ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities!

  • We are active in serving in the Powhatan community by joining with The Hope Supper Table the third Saturday of each month. From 2:45-4pm we serve lunch and hang with some great folks from local nursing homes.
  • We are active in Chesterfield County public schools through our backpack program where we pack backpacks for 30+ students who may otherwise not have food over the weekends.
  • We also serve dinner at Grace Fellowship of First Baptist Richmond twice a year.
  • And much more!

We really like to hang and get to know Jesus better so we also do movie nights, a pool day here and there in the summer, a fall retreat, and summer camp plus lots of fun and meaningful things in between!

Anything else I should know? Please check the church calendar before coming out for a visit. The last Wednesday of each month we do something for fun in the community which can be anything from bowling to a movie to Skyzone. We also support the preschool by attending Chick-fil-a Spirit night so please check before coming out so we don’t miss you!

We want you to come hang and can’t wait to meet you! If you have any questions or want more information please email our youth minister Lauren Moore
