COVID-19 Update

Dear Bethel Congregation,

We are all grappling with how to appropriately respond to the Coronavirus or Covid 19.  We have been in consultation with Local Emergency Management Officials, and, given Governor Northam’s declaration of a State of Emergency, we have elected to close church this Sunday, March 15.  Please note that we will have an “Online Service” starting at 11AM.   We hope you’ll tune in and watch at the following web address: https://www.bethelchurchmidlothianva.org/messages/

NOTE: Given the fluidity of this situation, we will evaluate from week-to-week as to whether or not we will have services.  Please check the church’s website and your email for further updates.

Please note that James Willis is in the midst of doing a thorough, deep clean of our facilities and is sanitizing all areas, including our nursery and classrooms.

This pandemic is an unprecedented event for most of us and there is a lot of fear.   Let’s use this situation as an opportunity to pray for people who are scared and fearful.  Let’s pray for our community leaders, our Governor, Congress and our President.  Please pray for our church leadership to respond to this health crisis with wisdom and discernment.

Finally, we fully understand this is a fluid situation.  We will be closely monitoring this situation and we will remain in contact with Local Emergency Management Officials to seek their guidance. Thank you for reading this and please pray for the Lord to be glorified through this worldwide pandemic.  May many people come to know Him as Lord and Savior during this time.  Amen.

In the love of Christ,

Todd Bradbury
