July 1 Update

Our July 12 re-entry date for in-person worship is rapidly approaching and we’re excited to have people back in the People of Hope (POH) Center for worship! We’re anticipating that this will be a time of joy and thanksgiving.  We’d like to give you a few reminders so that we can make our worship experience as joyful as possible.

  • The POH Center doors will open at 10AM for our 10:30AM Service.
  • When you enter the POH Center please enter by the POH Center parking lot.  We will exit through the other two doors in the POH Center, unless you have mobility issues. If you have mobility issues one of our ushers will help you exit through the POH parking lot entrance door.
  • Please stop by our “Sanitation Station” to sanitize your hands.
  • Face coverings or masks will be required.  As one of our members said, “I wear a mask to protect you; you wear a mask to protect me.”  Wearing a mask is an act of love.   If you don’t have a mask, we have purchased disposable masks that will be distributed.
  • If you have more than two people in your party please contact us by Thursday, July 9th at noon to let us know how many people are in your party.  We’ll reserve your seats together.  We’ll have ushers available to help you find your seats.  You can contact us by calling 794-8590 or email us at bbc1817@verizon.net.
  • Please practice social distancing.  Once inside, we’re politely asking folks to take their seats and members of our reentry team will be around to visit with you.  It will be great to catch up with you!
  • If you feel sick, have been sick recently, have any COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Please enjoy our worship service from the comfort of your home.
  • Finally, we know many of you are not yet ready to return to in-person worship. If you feel uneasy about public gatherings at the present, we want you to be assured we love you and fully understand your need to wait a while before you come back.  For those of you returning on July 12th we look forward to seeing you.  May God bless you and may God bless Bethel Baptist Church.
