Our “Rays of Hope” summer preaching series continues throughout July. Here are the details.
July 7 – Dr. Mark Biddle will preach on one of his favorite verses 2 Timothy 1:6-8. Dr. Biddle is well known to us. He’s Pastor Todd’s former Old Testament professor and he’s taught several Bible studies over the years at Bethel. In fact, he’ll be leading the Sacred Circle Bible Study beginning on July 17. He’s offering a 4 week study entitled “Humor in the Bible.” Dr. Biddle is an engaging and gifted teacher and this study is sure to be insightful as well as funny!
July 14 – Steve Booth will be preaching from one of his favorite pieces of Scripture, John 4:1-30. Steve served for many years as one of the pastors at First Baptist Church in Richmond. After retiring from First Baptist, Steve began working with Shepherd’s Staff Coaching and Counselling.
July 21 – John Sawyer is a good friend of Bethel and he will preach from Mark 10:51. John is the Executive Director of the Middle District Association and he preached at Bethel last year.
July 28 – Sara Hubble will preach from one of her favorite passages of Scripture, Luke 7:36-8:3. Sara is a long-time friend of Bethel. She’s the Executive Director of Camp Crossroads. We’re delighted to have her return to Bethel. July is full of gifted speakers and interesting topics. We look forward to seeing you each Sunday.
